Here are the steps for installing Accorto in a Salesforce organization.

The main points to keep in mind are:
  • It is a time saver to set up all the (custom) profiles before the installation.
  • In the Install Wizard in step Security Level, select Grant access to all users.
  • If you encounter problems, don't hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help!

Installation

Prerequisites


Please check that you have the Product Schedule feature enabled.


Set up the (custom) profiles for the users to use Accorto.
You can do that later too, but that will require a bit more clicking.


Use the Install link


You find the link to the latest version here - a bit faster than going through the Salesforce App Exchange.


Install via Salesforce App Exchange


Go to Setup (In the upper left corner of the Home page, click on the arrow next to your user name, click on Setup).


In the left-side menu that appears on the next page, navigate to App Setup > App Exchange Marketplace.
(Alternatively, locate the Quick Find field at the top of the menu listing, enter "App Exchange Marketplace" in the field and then select "App Exchange Marketplace".)



At the top of the page that appears, enter "Accorto" in the search field and then click the search button.


On the next page that appears, hover over the image having the label "Time & Expenses - Cloud Plus" (the blue one). Then click the More button.


On the next page, click the Get It Now button in the upper right portion of the page.



Installation


Click the Install in Production button.


Install for All Users


Choose the security level. It is a time saver to choose the option: Install for All Users. Otherwise you need to grant access for every single Profile manually later. It is easier to remove access than add it later.



Then, click the Install button.


Approve Third-Party Access


You will an ask to accept access to 

- api.accorto.com - This allows access to services like merging of attachments.

Note that all data is stored in Salesforce - no data/credentials are stored on our server - we just process data.


Appove Third Party Access

Check Yes, Grant Access box and then click the Continue button.


The installation will proceed.


Installation complete


The installation process may take a few minutes. You will know that it is proceeding smoothly when you see the notification: "You will receive an email after the installation has completed." If you check your email, you should receive a notification message that indicates that the installation is successful.



To access the application, select Accorto Cloud Plus in the Force.com Apps Menu in the upper left corner.


Add Users


After the installation, go to Setup > Installed Packages
and select Manage Licenses for Accorto Cloud Plus.
